Practi-Lidocaine 1%™ Vial for clinical training. Practi-Lidocaine 1%™ 200 mg/20 mL (10 mg/mL) vial accurately simulates a multi-dose vial of lidocaine (Xylocaine®), an antiarrhythmic and anesthetic drug used to treat irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias), relieve pain, and numb the skin. Nursing, Dental, EMT, EMS and Paramedic students learn a variety of skills including dosage calculations, sterile techniques of vial handling, air replacement and pressure changes, correct dosage aspiration and needle withdrawal skills.
