Hospira LifeCare PCA Infusion Pump
The Hospira LifeCare PCA Infusion Pump features a barcode reader aimed at reducing medication errors by automating the input of drug identification and concentration information. The pump’s Hospira MedNet® safety software can integrate with your facility’s EMR software and will seamlessly connect a physician’s medication orders with the LifeCare PCA and will document all related infusion data in the EMR.
The PCA Infusion Pump enables patients to self-administer or allows clinicians to administer analgesia safely within the programmed limits. This infusion system provides 3 modes of delivery: PCA only, Continuous only, and PCA & Continuous.
