DESCRIPTION
The Alaris 8120 PCA Pump Module delivers syringe-based, pain management medications via patient-controlled dosing. The 8120 PCA features secure drug access in the form of a clear, lockable case and is designed for adult, pediatric, and neonatal care within acute care and healthcare facilities.
The Alaris 8120 uses non-dedicated standard or pre-filled, single-use, disposable syringes (with luer-lock connectors) and administration sets with anti-siphon valves, designed for use on syringe-type PCA devices.
The Alaris 8120 PCA Pump Module is designed to be paired with the Alaris PC Unit and other Alaris Modules:
- BD Alaris 8015 PC Unit or BD Alaris 8000 PC Unit
- BD Alaris 8100 IV Pump Module
- BD Alaris 8110 Syringe Pump Module
